Experience a quiet, creative escape this October at Artworks Gallery. We are thrilled to present A Stillness in Layers, a solo exhibition by local artist Carrie Baxter.
Carrie specializes in encaustic painting, an ancient technique that builds textured, translucent layers of molten beeswax and natural pigments. The result is a collection of meditative art with remarkable depth—the kind of work that invites you to pause and get lost in the details.
Join us for the opening reception to meet the artist, explore the collection, and enjoy a relaxed evening downtown!
