Indiana Artisan has been helping artists whose work ranks among the best in the state build their businesses and business skills for 16 years. We want to help you, too.
A Meet Indiana Artisan presentation for prospective applicants to learn about our program, its numerous benefits and how to earn the Indiana Artisan designation is scheduled for 1:30-2:15 p.m. Nov. 23 during the Indiana Artisan Holiday Marketplace in the GE Club at Electric Works in Fort Wayne. Following the presentation, talk one-on-one with member artisans participating in the art and food show to get their personal perspective and understand the standard of excellence that characterizes the Indiana Artisan brand.
The state legislature directed Indiana Artisan in 2010 to find and recognize the best art, food and beverage made by Hoosiers. Applications go through a rigorous jury process to ensure only the best earns the honor. The 2025 application will open this fall; the jury will convene in mid-July. It is typical for the number of successful applicants to hover in the 14-17 percent range of applications received. They are offered a deep a la carte menu of programs and initiatives. The Holiday Marketplace is one of the selling opportunities exclusively for members.
The Holiday Marketplace will be open from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Nov. 23. Registered artisans can gain admission to the show and attend the presentation for $5 ticket (a discounted rate). Click here and use the promo code ARTISAN. You can also purchase a ticket for business partners at the same price.
