Make a book with High Class Booker

Indiana Artisan Logo

No experience is needed to make your own hardbound journal with Indiana Artisan Rai Peterson, but even experienced bookbinders will enjoy their time (and might learn a few secrets) in her Bookbinding Workshop, 6:30-9 p.m. May 19 and 20 Indiana Artisan Gifts & Gallery, 22 N. Rangeline Road, Carmel.

Bring your enthusiasm. Rai provides everything else you need, including the same high-quality tools and materials she uses in her journals and sketchbooks. Build a book for yourself or for a gift. (Dads and grads will love these.)

A retired professor of English literature, Rai will enlighten you as you work by sharing the history of some of the tools you’ll use and the writers who were also bookbinders that have influenced her.

Be part of the fun. Register here. But hurry! Seating is limited to 10.
